SUMMARY of EQUIPMENT & TECHNIQUES
The following is a summary of the equipment, its use, and the techniques employed during a Countermeasures Service:
  • Radio Frequency Spectrum Analyzers - discover hidden R.F. tranmitters (bugs)
  • Carrier Current Test Equipment - inspect electrical power lines and other wires for VLF bugs
  • Electronic Telephone Analyzers - test all target area telephones
  • Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR) - inspect the telephone lines inside & outside of premises
  • Non Linear Junction Detectors (NLJD) - find hidden devices buried in walls, ceilings, floors et cetera
  • Infrared Sensitive Devices (IRSDs) - locate & identify infra-red transmitting bugs
  • Portable X-Ray Equipment - detect an eavesdropping device within an enclosed wall or device.
  • Computer Analysis Equipment - test and inspect computer terminals and systems
  • Physical Inspection - the entire target area will be thoroughly inspected
There is only one way to protect your valuable information -- the right way. We do a great deal more during a countermeasures inspection than most companies. We would like to call to your attention the fact that just one overlooked eavesdropping device can defeat the entire process. Money saved by using less equipment and the "cheap sweep" can very easily result in the money being totally wasted. Just one overlooked device not only leaves your information compromised, but also instills a false sense of security, increasing the risk.
